Tolls on your trip
Some roads have toll gates, for example on parts of Lagos’s expressways such as the Lekki–Epe route. Gates may take cash or an electronic tag or card, and the way to pay can change, so check before you set out.

Tolls and penalties are yours
Tolls during your rental are your responsibility, and so are any penalties for not paying them. Keep a small amount of cash or a prepaid card with you.
Tips
- Plan your route with a navigation app that shows toll roads.
- Ask us at hand-over if the car has a tag you may use.
- Keep receipts, in case there is a dispute later.
